CruiseLearn: Computer Learning on board the World's Most Famous Ocean Liners

The CruiseLearn Student Portal is under development and will be coming online later this year. Once live, you will find all the information related to the Computer Learning sessions in which you participated on your recent voyage.

Access to this continuing student area of the website will be based on registration and use of the student code you would have been given as part of your CruiseLearn session on board ship.

If you don't already have a Username and Password you are welcome to complete the simple registration form available at this time to see part of our Members Only area and join our mailing list. Simply click the menu Student Registration button above this article. After you activate your Username then we'll email you later about how you can expand your enrollment once this section becomes available.

CruiseLearn is part of 121east.com, wholly owned by a Brit living in the Philippines. With more than 30 years experience in and around the travel industry and travel-related information technology; Graham Mitchell (aka Mitch) is using his experience as an educator and trainer to develop technology-based learning offerings.

Along with a team of dedicated computer geeks including educators, 121east.com operates from a base in the heart of Manila's Central Business District. 121east.com primarily handles website design, hosting and operation, while 121elearn.com focusses on developing e-learning to schools, NGO's and businesses both within and beyond the Philippines.

CruiseLearn.com is a natural extension of pre-existing on board operations that have generated a range of courses, coursework, training materials, slideshows and e-learning that combine to provide Cunard Line with what has proved incredibly popular on their existing upmarket ocean liners.

In many instances when visiting a Computer Learning Centre you will find computers, software and a range of preset lessons taught by an Instructor in organized groups.

The CruiseLearn solution takes you beyond that with an extensive range of electronic learning (E-learning) that you may use at any time. So, if you find group sessions a little overwhelming, then try E-learning, where you can replay the activity time and time again, until you feel comfortable with what you're working with.

CruiseLearn have been developing Computer Learning programmes and materials for a few years. Since the 2004 introduction to service of the Cunard Ocean Liner RMS Queen Mary 2; we have expanded to Cunard's newest Ocean Liner, the Queen Victoria.

We also had a limited programme in place on the now retired RMS Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2). Looking to the future, we aim to expand our services to the new Cunarder; Queen Elizabeth, which should enter service in October 2010.
